Was not overly thrilled with this book. I was rather surprised it got the great reviews it receives. You figure out the general gist of the story about 1/2 way through - I did not find it overly suspenseful, and was not drawn to any of the characters. Would not recommend.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I will definitely be looking for more by her. The suspense was great and it kept me glued to the book from start to finish. I did not want to put it down!

This is a book that I would have given up on if it hadn't been a 5-star title. I didn't like any of the three girls - Roxanne, Delilah or Alice. They were all vindictive little bitches with evil intent. Roxanne was the instigator but the others followed like little disciples of satan. In the end I believe they got what they deserved but I don't think Romero should have blamed himself for the results of his own machinations. After all, the girls wronged him first and even without his intentions, I believe they would have come to no good end.

Dark and provocative, this book will keep readers in its terrifying grip long after the final, shilling page is turned.

I did not particularly care for the age of the girls when the plot was hatched in the story, however, had they been older it would have been a completely different deal for me.

The language was quite strong for my liking so even with those 2 strikes I was still drawn in by the story. I read the book in 2 days.

Roxanne's mother could have been explained a little more in the end. It is a great depiction of evil and the choices we make and how we really have no idea how our choices affect others.

I give this a 5 for 2 reasons: one- the story was very well told and two- because of the complex issues we do face and the circumstances our choices (made young, middle aged or old) make on the lives of others and ourselves.
