Just wanted to meet other members of the Camel Club.  Became a "member" when I checked out Divine Mystery at the library's new book shelf and realized I needed to read the first.  Just finished the collectors and boy did Baldacci ever leave the story in mid sentence.  Starting Stone Plan tonite.

I have two humps...does that make me a member? LOL (Other than that, I have no idea what this is about.) :D

Cheryl, having never read a Baldacci book, I was totally clueless, too. However, being the curious sort, I found an explanation on his website:

Camel Club

The Camel Club (2005) | The Collectors (2006) | Stone Cold (2007) | Divine Justice (2008)

The Camel Club consists of four unlikely partners: The leader, man without a past currently called "Oliver Stone"; obsessive computer genius Milton Farb; blue-collar laborer Reuben Rhodes; and Library of Congress reference specialist Caleb Shaw. Their goal: to seek the truth, an often elusive goal in their hometown, Washington, D.C. In their quest for truth, they collect an unusual array of friends who assist them -- Secret Service agent Alex Ford, homeless activist Adelphia, and con-artist extraordinaire Annabelle Conroy.

Bactrian to the left, dromedary to the right.  No pushing!  No spitting!  Let's keep it civilized!!

(I've not read these either but I found the same info that Anna found.  My lists are too full to add another series right now!)

If you decide to become a member of the Camel Club, you must read in order.  Baldacci has been a favorite of mine and this series (Camel club, Collectors, Stone Plan, Divine Justice) is good reading.  Don't want to say too much until you start reading except to say if you want espionage with quirky characters then these are your books.

Sorry, I've only read one of Baldacci's books (Wish You Well).  It wasn't a mystery, but rather a historical fiction novel. And it was very good.

I just saw this thread and I know nobody's posted here for a couple weeks, but I wanted to put in my 2 cents' worth.

I've read ALMOST all of David Baldacci's books, including ALL of the Camel Club books.  I just wanted to say that I've loved every one of his books.  So if there's anyone who isn't sure whether they want to add Baldacci to their reading list, I'm giving another thumbs-up for him.

I tried listening to one on audio a while back, and didnt care for it...if it was in the middle of the series, maybe that's why.  I suppose I should find the first and give it another try.
