wait, she marked it mailed before she mailed it????  that is oh so wrong.

perhaps she can buddy you a credit back and then you mark it received?  this way you have your credit back and it clears it from the system.

The sender needs to write to R&R. They are the only ones who can cancel a mailed book. DO NOT MARK IT RECEIVED OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CREDIT.

Cathy, your credit is taken from you when you order.  It is passed on to the other person when the book is received.  Since she ordered, she already lost the credit.  A credit can be buddied and the book marked rec'd, or else the credit will be returned when the book goes lost.

Melissa -- this is an inept sender who marked a book she doesn't have mailed. Krista has not lost her credit yet. It has been removed from her account and is being held in escrow by R&R.

If she marks the book received, then the credit will be given to the sender who has already demonstrated that she doesn't know what she is doing. It's probably not a good idea to say you received a book you didn't receive and then depend on this person to figure out how to buddy a credit back.

Yes she can wait until the book goes lost. But the sender can also ask R&R to cancel the transaction and then she will get her credit back now. This is really the best way to go.

Geez, not only did she mark the books mailed before she mailed them but she marked them mailed BEFORE she even found and wrapped the books!!!!

Both you and her need to contact R&R. Don't assume she is going to do it or at least any too quickly.  She is most definitely in the wrong/violated some rules and may not be so keen to quickly e-mail to admit wrong doing. I'd do it myself giving R&R her contact information so they can follow up and they surely should since a rather major rule was violated.

In the mean time, it would be nice of her to buddy you a credit so you aren't out while you wait for the problem to be fixed but that isn't anything she has to do.

Good luck!
