A tasteful wartime capture for young readers
The middle installment of this 3 book story-arc about the Revolutionary War is tastefully handled. The English aren't villianized & selfless sacrifices are realistically portrayed. Naturally there were Americans & Englishmen who were nasty, selfish, & dishonest, but this book appropriately shows the nicer side of humanity while in a war.
The larger then usual font, many illustrations, and simple language make this series ideal for young readers.
