Finally! A book that does not bore me to death, that is set in the early 1900's! You really do fall in love with the characters in the book. You feel like you are really with Cassie, and even with her cousin, Evan, who is not the main character of the book. This book is wonderfully writen, Cassie sort of reminds me of Laura in the Little house books. She has the same spunk, although the book is written differently then that series, in my opinion, better.
