This book really helped me understand the truth about Jesus Christ. This short book rid me of my skeptical thoughts about Christians and philosophically challenged me to persue the only possible truth...
A great quick read, that will save your soul!

In More Than a Carpenter, Josh McDowell focuses upon the person who changed his life--Jesus Christ. It is a hardheaded book for people who are skeptical about Jesus' deity, his resurrection, his claims on their lives.

"Josh McDowell thought Christians must be "out of their minds." He put them down. He argued against their faith. But eventually he saw that his arguments wouldn't stand up. Jesus Christ really was God in human flesh. Josh became a speaker on college and university campuses, challenging those who were just as skeptical as he had been. In More Than a Carpenter Josh focuses upon the person who changed his life --Jesus Christ. Josh McDowell's timeless examination of the true nature of Christ and his impact on our lives is one of the best-selling Christian books ever (more than eight million copies in print worldwide!). Written by a former skeptic of Christianity, it is a hard-hitting book for those who doubt Jesus' deity and his purpose.

My son went in the wrong direction in life. He is in prison. This was the first book I sent him. It is a hard headed book for people who are skeptical about Jesus and his effect on our lives. My son normally doesn't read much....he loved this book.
