Nice, easy, read. Contemporary, Georgia setting near Savanah.
Interesting characters and good personalities. I want to read the next in the line.
I do wish however, that the role of an "old fashioned" wife who stayed home... was not looked down upon. For a love inspired book, I expected a little more appreciation for all women no matter what choiced they make.

The setting for this sequel is Sunset Island off the coast of Savannah, Ga. The stories of three sons, Rock (The Carpenter's Wife),
Stone (Heart of Stone) and Clay (A Tender Touch). Touching stories of
three sons who never had their mother's love shown to them by their mother after their father died. Now the mother is trying to give them
all that she failed to give when they needed it. Through resentment and hurt, these three men find it hard to forgive their mother and let them love her again.
FROM THE COVER OF "THE CARPENTER'S WIFE"
No one wanted roots more than Rock Dempsey, who worked as a minister and a carpenter in his small community. He dreamed of meeting a woman whose feet were firmly planted on the ground, a companion to share everything with. Sometimes this dream semed too far from reality. But then he met Ana Hanson.
Tearoom owner Ana Hanson felt she worked harder than most. Nothing ever came easy and, to make matters worse, she'd never had luck in the romance department. It was difficult to believe in faith...until she met Rock Dempsey, who was there in her time of need. Who would have thought that what she needed...was him?
