I love H.P. Lovecraft's writings. Anytime I find works based on his, I snatch them up with anticipation. For me, this book did not disappoint. It's a mystery with his stamp of the supernatural throughout. It's not overburdened with obscure references to things you would need a Cthulhu Mythos dictionary to understand. Anyone who enjoys Lovecraft will recognize some familiar names. However, if you are a Lovecraft purist, don't get too upset when his "descendant" doesn't have the best opinion of him.
