Possibly one of the best Perry Mason books. I've always greatly enjoyed it, despite many readings over the years.
Someone is sending Norda Allison ominous newspaper clippings. She suspects her X fiance Mervin. Then Mervin is murdered and the police waste no time hauling Norda to headquarters. Why was Mervins X wife, Loraine, so friendly to Norda? Who gave Loraines little boy a gun? Perry Mason, Della Street and Paul Drake need plenty of cunning to uncover the truth.
