Persico did a good job of peeking into U.S. spy work from WWII through the Reagan admin. A revealing insight into espionage from both sides of the political aisle. And shows how the Administration/Congress/Justice and individuals agendas often conflict and muddy the spy waters. Well written with supporting documentation.
