37 short poems, none of them life changing for me, but I only read the prime numbered ones. I think romantic love got in the way of his vision; what an awful thing to happen to a poet!
Yes, I know Rod McKuen looks like Dustin Hoffman. But that doesn't make his poetry any more profound.
