Chains of Command
Author: Dale Brown
In New York Times bestselling author Dale Brown's startling techno-thriller, it's Russia versus Ukraine with the U.S. caught in the middle, pulled into a war that may ignite the rest of the world. The best military adventure writer in the country today. (Clive Cussler) A superb storyteller. (W.E.B. Griffin)

Major Daren Mace with Major Rebecca Furness, the military's first woman combat flier. Not as good as with Patrick McLanahan but, still a worthwhile read.

Near future political/military thriller (but not SciFi). Pretty interesting interesting concepts.

This is just one of a series written by Dale Brown and I have always found them to be very intertaining and have read the entire series. Always hoping for another to be added to the series.
