Josefina's aunt Tia Delores is living with her family to help out after her mother has passed away. After the Feast of the Three Wise Men she tells them she will be going back to Sante Fe. Josefina does not want to leave and feels that her father does love Tia Delores so she becomes a bit of a matchmaker. A nice tale about the customs and traditions of the era in which she lives. Another wonderful tale in the American Girl series and with the history, fashions and life in 1824 New Mexico in the back of the book.

Educational book about Latina child's life in New Mexico outside a pueblo in the 1800s. Book in virtually perfect condition.
