Very good Debut novel. Chantress is a magic user who uses song to work her magic. Ms. Greenfield does a wonderful job creating her paranormal world. She builds on the character in each chapter and slowly shapes them. she lightly touches on history of England in 1600s. This book has the makings for a very good series.
