If you want to know, "What, exactly, IS the Charlotte Mason method, and how is it different from other homeschooling approaches?" then this is the book for you. A very general synopsis of Charlotte's viewpoints and ideas about educating children. A must read for homeschoolers looking for their homeschooling niche.

I love how well this book is written. It takes the CM method and explains it so that anyone can understand how it works and how to implement it. Levinson also includes sample schedules by age in the back. Wonderful resource!
