This book gets great reviews on Amazon, but it was one of the poorest written books I've read in a long time. The plot is contrived, the events are coincidental, and the characters are just flat.

Fast paced read, I thought better than Di Vinci Code since alot of the clues were taken from the Old Testament. Gives the reader alot to think about but the characters were easy to remember and keep track of so it is a easy read.
I thought the premise of the story was intriguing but the theology and politics of the main character was extremely slanted to the left. It was implied the Bible is to NOT be taken literally and that the Bible was written by various authors with mixed agendas. After reading nearly half the book, I was too dissapointed to continue on.

I enjoyed this book, however I had a hard time with the idea of an actual place that had hidden entrances being the Garden of Eden. It makes you think if you aren't careful that many different factions are looking for the Garden of Eden. Being that it is based on some factual events like the museum pirating.
I found the content of the book intriguing, however the formatting and style of writing was not my favorite. I enjoyed the book, but don't anticipate reading the other books within the trilogy.
I really liked this book. It had a little bit of everything and it held my interest throughout. I read it in 2 days, which I don't usually do any more. I like books that answer all the questions raised by the end of the story. I just ordered the second in the series to see what new direction it will go in.
