You may have read about Bob Braddock in Share & Care.  He has had three amputations on his right leg in the past few months.  Cards are most appreciated by both Dawn and Bob.  Here are her comments about one of the cards they received.  Keep them coming.  I have their address.

Arrived on a busy day with nurses and therapists in and out, couldn't settle down all day. So, it was a most welcome sight! Thank you so much for thinking of us, each day is hard. I keep thinking the work load will get easier soon but every day is the same right now. Bob has put himself back in charge of doing the dishes/dishwasher, which takes a huge part of work off my shoulders. He even swept the living room and kitchen floors one day! 
He gets stronger each day, but we both have meltdowns, naturally. Once his left foot heals it will get easier, as he gets stronger with therapy it will get easier and once he gets that prosthetic things will get hard and then easier. 
Very glad you introduced me to Share & Care, I found the birthday list while looking around. I had no idea any of this stuff was on here. Absolutely love it! And it will get me back into my craft stuff.
