Loved the writing style of this book. Also, the fact that it was in a twelve year old boy's POV made the story more interesting. His relationships with both his mother and father, brother, friends, bullies.. all so very typical in a boy's upbringing. I recommend this book to male readers, it's probably a throw back to their childhood. Only downside, not a very exciting story. Not any action or mystery.. just the life and growing up of a suburban boy.
