Adorable little book. Misaki moves to a new town, one complete with a lake inhabited by a mythical monster. Well, the monster isn't quite mythical, as Misaki finds out. Turns out the monster can transform itself into a little boy and it's decided to adopt Misaki. Add in a thief fleeing with stolen gold and let the hijinks begin. Nice and fluffy, great for younger readers, a little too light for adults.
