Grant is the rude,unthinking husband soon to be ex. Tessa is the wife trying to work through the issues in her marriage to such a man. They are working through a divorce while Grant selfishly demands his son to hurt Tessa.
Alex the divorce lawyer for Tessa becomes her friend and helps her through the difficult situation especially all the problems Grants throws at her.
Grant is a believable bad guy ex husband. Tessa is a sweet and committed mother. It was an enjoyable read especially with Alex as a character.
