A teacher and her young daughter move to a new town, and a new school. She is almost immediately confronted by one of her students being murdered. Of course, because she's new in town, she is the preferred suspect. Another one of her students is murdered, and the townspeople believe she is some sort of a serial killer. The only one who believes her story is the investigating officer. Obscene phone calls, and other harrassments occur before the mystery, which was in the hands of the students, is solved.

Not quite a cozy read, but no where near a thriller either. I'll look for more from this author.
