Great gritty accounts (all true) of Chinatown written and reflected on by the actual cops that walked the infamous beat in San Francisco from the gold rush to present day. Great period photos and interesting insight on a part of town that is very guarded by the locals. Worth reading if you like police or crime books. Or if you are into San Francisco history.
