The publisher of this book is apparently a cooking school in China. Their cookbooks are very authentic and not catered to American-Chinese fast food. I've cooked from their cookbooks before, and the results were delicious.
This book features dishes which are a meal unto themselves: protein and vegetables all together. Many are relatively simple as Chinese food goes. Each recipe has a lavish photo of the resulting dish, and I must say, every dish in the entire book looks tempting. All of them. I've never before seen a cookbook in which I want to try *every* dish, but this one accomplishes it.
If you like authentic Chinese cuisine, I think you'll be delighted with this book.
