There is definitely an atheist slant to this book, primarily because Jackson's purpose is to debunk religion in general because of chronological inconsistencies. As the title suggests, he focuses on Christianity in particular, showing facet after facet, point after point, and idea after idea how Christians essentially "stole" religion from a series of other religions and by sheer number and popularity made it what it is today. He makes the reader distrust all religions and makes an incredibly strong case for it; but you've got to be open to entertaining the idea before you read it in order to really appreciate it.
