All 3 stories are reprints. Falling Stars by L. Chase first appeared in Avon Books Presents A Christmas Collection (I give this 4 out of 5 stars); Gifts of the Heart by J. French in Avon Books Presents Under the Mistletoe (didn't read, so no comment); and A Christmas Present by L. Kleypas in Avon Books Presents Christmas Love Stories (4 stars).

The Loretta Chase story was probably the best of the batch. The plot and pacing were exactly right for a short story and fit well the holiday theme. A woman and man meet again 10 years after they'd fallen in love and separated in a misunderstanding of sorts.
Lisa Kleypas's story of a couple recently married for convenience is also excellent. I didn't find the hero as likeable or compelling as many of Kleypas's other heroes, and also this story didn't have a super strong stamp of Christmas for me. However Kleypas does have a way of writing stories that stay with you, and this one sure did.
I skimmed the Judith French story, mainly because it was just too sad for me. It had a happy ending, but somehow reading the remembrances of a lost love (who died) is just too much for my tender heart.
