This book is the last in the Thrush Green series. Is as good as any of the books before, and gives a satisfied ending to what happens to all the Thrush Green friends. Nelly & Arthur; Dotty Harmer; Harold & Isobel Shoosmith; Dr. Lovell and many more. Although this book was not completely written by Miss Read herself, the secondary author does a great job of writing in Miss Read's voice and relating the story just as she would. Sadly, Miss Read has passed on, but Fairacre and Thrush Green will live on.
