15 Yr. old is sent to his gruff grandmother because his mother is ill. She is a scientist and about to go on an expedition and he must accompany her. A coming of age kind of story as he shows he can handle the adventure with a clear head and even be helpful. I found the two main characters were very well developed .I found the two main characters were very well developed .Good story
