Stanley Hastings gets himself into another bizarre situation. He is hired by a man who wants his wife followed so they can reconcile. This is Stanley's first real client who will pay him $200 a day plus expenses. The problem is getting paid and getting set up for murder. Some hilarious parts in this book - laugh-out-loud funny. Stanley has got to be the most neurotic private investigator in New York!
