Great book! I had read The Ragman's Son and this one is even better! Kirk Douglas literally bares his soul in this one. He questions, admits and soulfully seeks meaning in his life of 80+ years. I found his thoughts on his friendship with Burt Lancaster especially touching and insightful as to the kind of man that he really is.

Anyone who loves Kirk Douglas as an actor will be surprised (pleasantly so) by this memoir. Kirk Douglas delves deep into his spirituality in this book, written after his major stroke and recovery.
