I can't believe I've read 27 novels in this series without becoming bored with the plots. I still enjoy each of them as they are refreshing compared to some of the books I read. The "Murders She Wrote" novels are comparable to a taste of lemon sherbet* to clean your palate after a heavy meal. Even though the author doesn't make it easy for the reader to determine who the killer is. Thank God, there are many more novels in this series.
* Actually I don't eat lemon sherbet. Instead a teaspoon of Haagen-Dazs Pineapple Coconut ice cream does the trick for me.
