I liked this book, the ending I wasn't sure I liked the ending, but I've read two different David Ambrose books and the endings are NEVER what one expects!
I was introduced to the author by his book Superstition, which I really enjoyed 99% of the way through. Like so many paranormal-type books, the ending sort of peters out.
This was certainly a different type of book, and it keeps you guessing as to what is really happening (actually it's a question that is never really answered.) Once the major plot twist is sprung I sort of lost interest, although the writing is such that I never considered not finishing it. (The short side-trips into philosophical territory of synchronicity were a little trying after a while, though.)
Not a glowing recommendation, but it was an okay light read if you want something a little different.

I loved this book! I first read his The Man Who Turned Into Himself and realized I'd hit the jackpot with a possibly great new author. And this book didn't disappoint me. He's good enough to make it into my blog.
It's so refreshing to read a book (for a change) where I can't guess what's going to happen next, or even where I can't guess what the characters are likely to say or do at any point.
Although this book isn't the type I usually read (paranormal romance), it's scientific-ness wasn't so far removed....the ooky factor was there albeit watered down with logic.
An excellent read. Can't wait for the next one!
