Cole Slaw Crunch

  • 1/2 cup - Sugar(or Splenda)
  • 1/3 cup - White Vinagar
  • 2 pkgs - Seasoning from Beef Flavor Ramen Noodles
  • 1 cup - Oil
  • 2 pkgs - Noodles from Beef Flavor Raman Noodles - broken up
  • 1 cup - Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 cup - Slivered Almonds - toasted
  • 1 bunch - Green Onions - chopped
  • 2 whole - Carrots - peeled & grated
  • 1 lb. - Cole Slaw Mix

Prepare first 4 ingredients the night before or several hrs. ahead.

As close as possible to serving time, add all dry ingredients together and mix dressing with it.


If taking to a cover-dish dinner  -  I mix dressing in a cup w/ top - seeds, almonds and noodles in a plastic container - slaw, onions, and carrots in a large serving bowl w/ top - and mix all together when I get to location.  Big, big hit!!

Sorry, I'm a little confused. So is it the almonds, sunflower seeds,oil and ramen noodles that are mixed the night before? Is this what you're refering to as the "dressing"?
