I like the Price is Right and until I read this book, I always wanted to get on the show. But it appears that just because you have free tickets, you still have to wait in line with 339 others. Who knew? This book is an interesting, behind the scene look at the longest running game show. This was written before Bob Barker retired. The author, Stan, is hilarious! I really like how funny he made the book. There are stories about contestants, the games, the Barker Beauties, and just how challenging it is to put on the show day after day.

Interesting read.

If you are fan of the show (and really who isn't) you should pick up this fast and witty account of the show. I just finished Priceless Memories the autobiography of Bob Barker and then came across this at the library, so I thought why not. I really enjoyed it almost read it one sitting (I just didn't want to stay up later...I started it late at night) it is quick and interesting.

An interesting and informative peek behind the scenes of television's longest running game show. I thought it was worth reading just to read about how much there is to do behind the scenes to keep the show running on a daily basis. A fairly quick read with lots of glossy photos; I was able to finish it in a day and a half.
