Sort of dull. Great for background of the time. Not much action. I don't think I'll buy any more in this series.

If you like a traditional old style vampire romance with lots of historical content then you will like the St. Germain series by Yarbro.

A series of Count Saint-Germain, a vampire. I didn't realize this when I started reading the book, and still enjoyed it very much (and I don't normally like vampire books!). This more focused on the period, and the psychology of life
