Complete Afghan Book Author:Graphic Enterprises, Inc. This is a vintage booklet with lots of great patterns. There are some knit but most are crochet and a couple are a combination. No matter what type of project you like to stitch, you will find something in here because there is a lot more in this book than afghans. There are pillows, skirts, jackets, and even an absolutely beautiful stole. A... more »ll of the patterns use the same techniques and stitches as the afghan pattens making it a very versatile book. The is a cross-stitched afghan stitch afghan, an embroidered knitted afghan, some cabled and Aran pieces, and a few others for the more experienced or adventurous stitcher. There are some for the new or traditionalist stitcher, also, such as the star stitch baby blanket, the sampler afghan, and (of course) the collection would not be complete without a granny pattern and a ripple pattern. The moon texture afghan was a surprise, with tons of texture (it would make a fabulous baby blanket) and there is bound to be someone that the American Eagle afghan or rug would be appropriate for (it's a knit pattern, but could easily be used for cross stitch on an afghan stitch base). These pieces are vintage stitching at it's best!« less
