I think this book would be best for a frugal scrapbooker who doesn't have a lot of gadgets. There are plenty of stencils in the book so you can trace letters and shapes. I just used my gadgets so I had no use for these stencils. The book itself is informative and well written. It give you tips on such basics as how to sort and store photos, using design principals, journalling, and organizing time. It also has tips and photos about how to use different techniques such as using stickers, using vellum, cutting, rubber stamping, chalking, using computers, and framing.
