This has been my favorite textbook ever. I used it in high school, but recommended it to any person who's interested in physics and never took a class on it. The book explains and illustrates the fundamental concepts of motion, energy, gravity, heat, sound, light, electricity and nuclear physics. And each chapter has questions and word problems to help solidify the understanding of the concepts.
