  Let me suggest
the impossible
with you sitting next to me
(and the budding heads of sage
as witnesses)
I am alone here somehow

You burn a hole in me
deeper than your love for me
The inconceivable truth happens to be
the only truth
I know by heart
and when I
when I
stutter
it is because you allow me
to sing my joy
but not my solitude
my bedside manner
but not my madness

sing your solitude, sing your madness. sing long like a fifty year prison sentence. breathe loud and deep like the men in their wheelchairs with the hole in their neck. you're words glow in my mind like firefly insides smeared on my skin. burning, like a star for more, after i read your lyrics of life over and over. reading til the words aren't words with meaning. blinding the prisims in my eyes just wishing someone would write the words you write, for me.
