I requested a book from another member earlier today. It's showing up as 'waiting for member', which is fine. However, when I got home from work tonight, I checked out her shelf to see if she had any other books that I'd be interested in. She's no longer a member! How was I able to request a book from her if she no longer has an account?

She didn't cancel her account so the book is still in the sustem. Let it time out, and your request will move to another person's book. You might want to alert R&R so they can close the account. |

Well now I'm confused. If she's no longer a member her account doesn't automatically close/cancel? |

The member would have had to contact R&R to cancel their membership. It can not be done any other way. They will check to see if the member has any outstanding orders, either coming or going. If they have not printed the wrapper for your book, you can can cancel the order. But if it is a Wishlist book, you may want to let the order time out by itself, so you do not lose your place in line for it. |

Now I'm confuddled, lol. How can their page say that they're no longer a member if their membership hasn't been cancelled? Wouldn't the membership have to be cancelled for the system to know they were no longer a member? |

I'm confused too...if they have a bookshelf how could it say they aren't a member? |

Guess we'll all hang out in the confuddled corner, LOL. I'll bring the pitcher of margaritas! I canceled the request.

Ah yes, there's nothing like a margharita to clear the confusion! :>) |

Does this mean you have to wait the 48 hours until the request goes to another member? |
