I love Sci-Fi - but this book had too much war for me!
C. S. Friedman is one of my favorite authors. She loves to write of struggles, and ironies about those struggles. This book describes the war between two planets whose history both involve eugenics toward opposite paths. It is also a story about a personal vendetta. Well written, it is worth reading several times.
2 civilizations fighting an endless campaign over a long-forgotten cause. One became super-warriors, the other powerful telepaths. Every power of body & mind will be used to reek the vengenace of total conquest!
