This is a series of books that takes you thru the Catholic Church's weekly Mass offerings. Each day has a meditation on that topic of the Holy Mass that applies to real life. Each meditation is written in about 4-5 pages in words that the lay person can understand and appreciate. The meditations are thought provoking and insightful and really help deepen your prayer life or communication thru prayer with god.
There are 3 books for Ordinary Time, one for Advent/Christmas, one for Lent/Eastertide and 2 for feasts of the Saints. The books tell you where you should be each day and in which book you should be reading from.

I found that it really helps me deepen my prayers and thought process all day long concerning God. I would highly recommend this series to anyone seeking to understand how the Bible applies to our daily life and what God has asked of us. While it is a Catholic book, any religon will gain understanding and insight from using it.
