This was cute. I saw someone review it as boring, and maybe it was compared to the others in the series, but to me it was simple more so than boring.
It was just a simple story of two mates destined for one another. Ethan was determined to claim his mate, while Corey was determined to remain unclaimed.
Throughout it showed both men being stubborn about their desires. And how Corey's resolve is slowly worn down between the needs of his inner wolf, his mate's advances, and his family and friends knocking sense into him.
It was nice to see regular self-inflicted angst rather than some horrible plot by others to keep a couple apart. Sometimes you have to change up the formula and the author did that here. No complaints from me.
