TERRIBLE Waste of time. DO NOT read this. Very little mystery and what was there was never solved...

Wow, compared to other Cat Who... books, this book was awful. To me, it really felt like it wasn't written by Lilian Jackson Braun at all. I went online to see if perhaps she had died and someone was ghost-writing for her because it felt so different. Also, the book ends with no resolution. I'm going to check and see if I somehow got a 'short book' that's missing pages, but I do have to say that I was very disappointed with this book.

What has happened to Lilian Jackson Braun? The last few books aren't up to her usual standards and "The Cat Who Had 60 Whiskers" is right pitiful When I turned that last page, I wondered what happened and where was the rest of the book? I tried to find her website, but she doesn't seem to have one. Strange for a best-selling author! I found that she was born in 1913, which would make her 98, and there is a lot of speculation that she has passed away. I tried to find an obituary in NC (where she and her husband lived), but I couldn't find one. Where, oh where, is The Cat Who Lady???
