This paper presents some of the results obtained by a far more intensive study of specimens from the Plains area as a whole. The specimens described are from the Museum's collections, particularly from the collection presented by J. P. Morgan in 1910; but the writer is under obligation to Dr. Walter Hough of the United States National IVIuseum, A. C. Parker of the New York State Museum, C. C.
