I just wanted to thank everyone for their ideas about sending these out. I sent out a few to individuals and the rest, along with a few other extras I forwarded to someone on PBS who was collecting books for military hospitals. I never would have thought to send it out to soldiers, so thanks for coming up with it.

Have a great Holiday!

Hi all. I don't come over here much. I'm what might be called an intermitent (sp?) crafter. :) I used to cross stitch a lot, but just recently picked it up again after about a year of reading. Going through my supplies I came across a bunch of kits that were intact/complete and I know I'll never get to them. I thought I'd offer them up and see if anyone is interested.

Counted cross stitch kits:

5" x 7"

  • Flying Beauties Jiffy
  • Dockside View  Dimensions
  • Dolphin Trio  Dimensions
  • Midnight Meow  Jiffy
  • Celestial Bodies (no count/printed)  Dimensions

14" x11"

45" diameter

  • Days of Olde Tree Skirt  Dimensions

Most of these kits haven't even been opened and none of them have been started at all. I'd be happy to send these out if you're interested. Just PM me with the address.

Merry Christmas!

What a GENEROUS offer, Jan!  If I didn't have stacks of ongoing projects already, I might take you up on it!  Alas, I will probably not finish what I need to before Christmas.  = P

Jan - Consider donating them to a battered women's shelter. Those women are not in a financial position to buy kits but may like the diversion.  A stitching group I am in has collected stitchery supplies for a shelter and they was well received.

Linda's got a great idea.  My local stitching group also sent out a bunch of extra kits to the soldiers overseas -- there was an article a fews years back in the paper that showed a big, beefy Marine doing cross-stitch.

Ha! I'd like a picture of that. LOL  I'll see if I can get some addresses to send to. Thanks for the suggestions I never would have thought of those two groups. I did have one order for the tree skirt, but the rest are still up for grabs.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone and thanks.
