The swing man on the Supreme court has died and the president wants an investigation on possible nominee's; high level political men hire a top lawyer to check them out. This book again exposes that all is not what it seems. Very good book.

Nine supreme court judges will soon decide four history making cases. Eight of them will split along party lines four to four. The nineth judge, holding the swing vote, will tip the scales of justice. He's a good man and unknown to everyone a dying man-barely kept alive by machines in a very private hospital.

Political / judicial intrigue. Nine Supreme Court judges will soon decide four history-making cases. Eight of them will split along party lines four to four. The ninth, holding the swing vote, is a good man and, unknown to nearly everyone, is dying.
