Yesterday, I sent in an upload request. The cover appears (correctly) on my TBR list, but not when I click the book itself. Is this normal?

I have cover glitches as well, but a couple of covers appear correctly when I view my own booklist, but are absent on the list that others see.  I'd rather have prospective requestors see them.

I have had something similar happen to me, John, and it seems that reuploading the cover will fix it.

I tried reuploading; that was denied with a message that my first request is still pending approval.  I can wait - just thought I'd ask.

So far everybody that's had this problem has been able to fix it by re-uploading the image. John, someone else may be uploading the same image you are at the same time. Give it a couple days and try again. Contact me directly if it doesn't fix.
