Cracker Jackson, a ten-year-old boy, receives a letter from his ex-babysitter, Alma. It is a warning because Alma thinks that her husband, Billy Ray, might harm Cracker. Since Cracker believes that Billy Ray is abusing Alma and her baby, Cracker does not need Alma's advice.
