Sebastian Santiago, a half-breed, has been imprisoned, tortured and starved by a lycan pack in Istanbul. Ruby Deveraux, an American tourist, is kidnapped and tossed into Sebastians's cell. He has never killed or fed on humans and is determined not to start now. Ruby is an empath and senses how hard he is struggling. See is a virgin, but realizes Sebastian needs to overcome the need to feed with the stronger emotion of sex.
There is lots to like in this story. It is one of my favorites from the series.
