I have a Question regarding how credits are giving.

i know that you recive one credit for one book. Do we also get credits by posting our books? The reason why I ask is because I posted 6 books and I've gotten 2 credits and I don't know if its a computer error or something.

There is a book I really want and I just saw it here and I've been looking for it for like almost 2-3 yrs and I don't want to order it with my credits right now because if my credits are an error then I don't want my book to be canclled.

You actually don't get any credits (other than the three freebies you get when you sign up after posting nine books) UNTIL the receiver gets your book.  When they do, they mark the book as received and you get your credit.  Hope that helps explain things.

In order to receive your 3 free credits, you need to post your nine books.  Think of it as 1 credit for each 3 books.  You've posted 6 so that is where your 2 credits came from.  As soon as you post the other 3, the third credit will show up.  This is the only time that you will receive credits for posting books, it is a way to help new members get into the process.

So, you can safely order the book you have been wishing for - those 2 credits are yours.  Remember now that the three credits are given you, each book is worth one credit, audio-books are 2 credits usually.  Once you send a book to someone who has requested it you will get a credit for it as soon as they mark it received.  If you find yourself short you can purchase extra credits through the PBS kiosk.

So you don't get credits for posting a certian amount of books.

yeah new credits for new people really helps because I thought I would have to wait and wait until someone request a book from me so I can get the book I wanted.

I've got more books to post in a few mins after I find them.
